Unboxing Revolut’s metal card

Metal seems to be the trend!

Revolut.com is one of the fastest-growing fintech start-ups, challenging existing banks by providing an online-only banking environment, multi-currency accounts, cryptocurrency support and many perks, previously only available to the wealthy few (like concierge services).

Besides a free plan, they also offer a paid plan that entitles you to a metal card (which seems to be quite the trend amongst all those fintech startups).

I opted for the gold-coloured one, probably because it has the highest ‘bling factor’.

The card was sent using DHL express and arrived within a couple of days.

Make sure you wear sunglasses, so you don’t get blinded from bling :)

Contactless (NFC), with chip and an expiration date 5 years in the future... Nice!
